The process

You don’t need to empty your tank. In fact we prefer it be 50% full or more. It’s easier on our pump system.
You don’t need to turn any power off while we work. Go about your normal routine. 

Typical water loss is 10–20%. 

No need for water delivery after we leave.
After we clean, wait a week or two before you change your house filters. 

Let the old filters eat what we stir up while cleaning.
Always keep trees trimmed back from house and keep gutters clear of debris
Check your tank yearly by opening the hatch and take a look inside with a flashlight. 

You should be able to see the level of sediment on your tank floor. 

Clean the tank every 2-5 years.
